WEBSITE UPDATE:
I have spent the last week rewriting my website, which is really just
completing the new design I started a few years ago.
As I mentioned, my former blogging service was discontinuing support for
publishing directly to your own website in favor of being forced to
publish to their website ... which is something I am very much opposed
to, thus I have installed new software called "Thingama
Blog ". It seems to me the "blogging" rage has passed, and I
have decided to rename my blog page to "News" which is what it basically
is meant to be.
The new software is a program downloaded to my computer, and publishes
my posts to my webserver. This method has advantages and disadvantages,
the biggest disadvantage being it does not support "comments". But the
advantages out weight that, since not many people commented on my posts
anyway ... if you want [need] to get in touch with me, feel free to use
the Contact Page.
And due to the fact that my blogging service was owned by Google, I have
also removed the direct link to my YouTube
Channel . I am somewhat concerned that one day they may pull
the rug out from under my videos, so I feel it is better to create my
channel here where I have more control over it. The page online right
now is somewhat rough, and I plan to make big changes to it over time.
It is my intention to open accounts at other video hosting sites to
increase my exposure.
So that's the update ... I've got to get to work on my new upcoming show
... details to be posted soon!
