Snowstorm In Myrtle Beach...

Back in December, I revealed we had top secret plans for a big grand illusion ... today I successfully executed that illusion and created Myrtle Beach's first snowstorm in ten years!

While Barefoot Landing was less than receptive towards the idea (citing liabilty concerns with the snow and ice), I was not detered - one thing about JoeJoe is he truly believes he can do anything he wants and nobody tells me I can't!

Thus I created the snowstorm in my backyard! Neighbors were surprised, one guy stopped and asked if a pipe broke or something ... he couldn't believe it was real snow! Santee Coopper drivers saw the snow, then turned around and came back to find out if it was real snow ... I gave them a snowball to confirm that is was indeed real snow.

Another lady said her boyfriend called and told her to come check out the snowman ... a guy riding his bike said "HOLY @#$!" ... a vacationing tourist came over and asked if he could take a picture, he claimed nobody was going to believe there were kids playing in the snow in Myrtle Beach and needed a picture to prove it.

We have lots of video footage, and plan on releasing a YouTube video in the near future. While I'm not sure lighting was our best friend, I do know that the experience itself was the most magical in my life!

Going to open a pitch joint...

I know I haven't posted much lately, I do enjoy relaxing in the off season ... but I actually haven't been able to get much rest in, as I have been busy on my latest project. I have purchased the domain pitchjoint.com. I've been programming a custom shopping cart which will process orders from PayPal and Google CheckOut. Nearly complete, I hope to have it online in the very near future accepting orders for my 'Reality' DVD.

And then I will focus on some more DVDs ... I have received requests for my "Stripper Deck" routine and my "Linking Ring" routine, and I really want to get a DVD out on my "IT Tube". Maybe some other stuff, like my Sword-through-Body and Disappearing JoeJoe.

So last night I took 'Reality' to the local IBM meeting, it was exciting for me since I was able to get a lot of feedback ... I think it went very well, even better than I had hoped. Lots of great comments from people and even sold a couple copies ... it has boosted my confidence level and I'm thinking of sending a few out to be reviewed.

When I first finished filming Reality, I set out to do a trailer ... of course, I never did a trailer before and must confess I didn't really know how to do a good one. I basically threw some clips together with some music. I don't think it served as a good ad for the DVD, so I went back to the drawing board ... I like this one a lot better:

Hope you enjoy,
