Snowstorm In Myrtle Beach...
Back in December, I revealed we had top secret plans for a big grand illusion ... today I successfully executed that illusion and created Myrtle Beach's first snowstorm in ten years!
While Barefoot Landing was less than receptive towards the idea (citing liabilty concerns with the snow and ice), I was not detered - one thing about JoeJoe is he truly believes he can do anything he wants and nobody tells me I can't!
Thus I created the snowstorm in my backyard! Neighbors were surprised, one guy stopped and asked if a pipe broke or something ... he couldn't believe it was real snow! Santee Coopper drivers saw the snow, then turned around and came back to find out if it was real snow ... I gave them a snowball to confirm that is was indeed real snow.
Another lady said her boyfriend called and told her to come check out the snowman ... a guy riding his bike said "HOLY @#$!" ... a vacationing tourist came over and asked if he could take a picture, he claimed nobody was going to believe there were kids playing in the snow in Myrtle Beach and needed a picture to prove it.
We have lots of video footage, and plan on releasing a YouTube video in the near future. While I'm not sure lighting was our best friend, I do know that the experience itself was the most magical in my life!
