The Next Big Idea ...

With the completion of Reality, I have suddenly realized that I have nothing to do. I mean, no project to work on ... I mean ... I've spent the last four years working towards the release of a performance DVD, and now that I have done so I am without a project.

We can't have this - my mind is to active to not be doing anything, thus began a massive brainstorming session in hopes of my next big idea. Dana came through with a huge idea and I have since begun working out the details.

I wish I could explain exactly what the idea is, but this one will need to remain top secret - a need to know basis only, this is just too good of an idea to put on the internet for every tom dick and harry to beat me to the punch. All I am willing to say is that this is a David Blaine style stunt that will have the entire town talking about me.

With a written proposal in hand, we had a meeting with Barefoot Landing today seeking their approval. They need time to get all this approval, so for the time being I don't know if I will be doing this there or not ... we put a January 1st deadline on them, and until we hear from them we will keep seeking other venues for this event in case they say no. But that is just a precaution because I am sure they will want to do this - this will indeed be a huge thing.

From heat wave to ice age...

I hate working the cold! But overall, it was a very good experience ... much different than my usual gig, being one of Santa's Elves was indeed fun. I wish I had a red jacket and some pointy ears, would look the part better.

I actually had the idea that I could book this character to the malls for big bucks ... hmmm ... Santa's Magic Elf. I mean, wouldn't you want to take your kids to the Santa that has an elf that can do real magic? Sounds much more appealing than some duffus hollering "NEXT".

I basically did this as a light and sound check for my new studio, I wish I could improve it a little more ... but for now, it will have to work. I'd really like to buy a new camcorder, this one is an antique. Once I recoup some of the money I've sunk into the Reality DVD I think I will get a camcorder. Until then ... I've got some more films to make!

Burning it up here...

It seems like all I do anymore is burn DVDs, and when I'm not burning DVDs I'm making trips to the post office. Being as how at least one DVD arrived cracked, I should point out that I offer a full guarantee on 'Reality' ... if your copy is cracked or damaged, I will ship another. If the format is not compatible with your DVD player, I will refund. If you just don't like my performance, just mail the DVD back and I will refund you.

For those that have never done business with me before, I am a hand shake kinda guy - my word is worth more than any contract. But if you are leery of ordering direct from me, 'Reality' should be available on amazon.com by 2007 - I'll make a post when so.



So tomorrow is the big day - Christmas shows with Santa at Barefoot Landing. I'll be taking a scaled down version of my act, no sword through body, no tip jars, nothing too out of the ordinary. There will be free balloon animals for the kids, and pictures with Santa. This will be a lets just kick back and have some fun day.
