It was supposed to be a one hour photo shoot. I hate photo shoots, and this one was no exception. It turned into a two day ordeal! First the clothes were wrong ... so we changed them. Then we changed them again ... and again ... in all, we went through five outfits. My hair was supposed to have the "wet look", but it keep drying during the stalling so I am constantly having my hair sprayed with a water bottle. We pushed on into the night ... then there wasn't enough light ... we brought in more bulbs. The room got even hotter.
I insisted on doing an open shirt shoot ... I wanted a view of my sword-through-body going through the body, without any clothing blocking anything ... which was a tricky shot to get. Over 2/3rds the pics had to be thrown out because the gimmick was exposed (we can't have that now!).
But in the end ... we captured a few poses that I think are most impressive. And before anyone can say anything, I want you all to know ... the only digital editing done on any of these pictures was to clean up the background - I $*** you not! This is not a camera trick - Photoshop was not used! I regularly do the sword-through-body at Barefoot Landing, and I am more than capable of performing it shirtless on stage with the help of an assistant.
This is what I call being on the cutting edge!
