Introducing ... the Amazing JoeJoe!

I'm proud to release my website's new "intro" today ... an old-school video slide-show of various video clips of me performing. Click here to watch the intro.

While most websites use Flash for an intro, I despise Flash programming - I'm on an old computer that is only 400 MHz and generally don't like many plug-ins at all. I had the vision to do this, so I did it in a way that it would work with my computer.

The new intro should work with any JavaScript enabled webbrowser, but I have only tested it with MSIE5 and NetScape 7. If it doesn't work for anyone, please let me know what version and what browser you are using so I can find a fix.

I'm going to be working on the Blog sidebar next ... I want to streamline it, remove the clutter, and add a bunch of Myrtle Beach links to it. See you soon!

UPDATE: some dial-up users complained the intro took too long to load, so I have replaced the animation with still images ... I intend to revisit the intro soon and make it less graphical by adding some DHTML effects so it will load even faster.
