Must I do everything myself???

In the eyes of agents and venue bookers, "magician" is one of the lowest forms of entertainer there is - maybe a step above "mime". When I can't find a stage to get on, I take my magic directly to the people .... as a street performer.

Sometimes you must bypass the agents and the theater owners and go directly to the people ... which is exactly what I am going to do - but not as a street performer this time! I have found a small stage, and received permission to put on my own magic show! A real magic show!

I am very excited about this project, an hour long show where I will have complete artistic control to do the show I have envisioned the way I envision it. It will be a lot of work, a lot of promotion, and put a lot of stress on my personal life ... I stand to lose a substantial sum of money in the process. But I must pursue my dream.

The show will be a one-man show lasting a little over an hour ... it will feature all of my unique routines, including the walk-around routines I developed at 2001 Nightlife, standup routines from Coconuts Comedy Club, as well as the Disappearing JoeJoe from my street shows. It will also have some original magic I've come up with never seen before! In a since, it is a culmination of the Amazing JoeJoe's life in magic - all 20 plus years of it!
